Bob Carlos Clarke

On March 25, 2006, the Irish photographer Bob Carlos Clarke went out of a Barnes hospital, to the south-west of London, after doing a checkup to him, he was walking up to a near railroad route and threw itself in front of a train. He was 55 years old and his terrible end was not surprising for his complicated life.
There are several hypotheses about his suicide: he was not supporting to become major while it kept on photographing young models; he was affected very much by the death of his big friendly Lord Patrick Lichfield; he did not like the predominance of the digital photo …

Famous for his nudes photos, his impactantes commercials and his portraits of famous persons like Keith Richards, Security Von Teese, Caprice, Marco Pierre White and Rachel Weisz, also realized another type of works that now are beginning being recognized. Nevertheless he was considered to be him first of all “British Helmut Newton”.
It was always supported in the knife-edge between the commerce and the art. He always doubted its own talent himself. National Portrait Gallery never recognized it after herself in life, although it hung a photo of his after his disappearance.

Very true what you write, generally once an artist dies his work takes transcendency and that is sad …
We are a group of press independent from Argentina that we devote ourselves (in our free time) to cover recitals with chronicles, photos and videos; to do criticism of discs and everything related to the world of the music.

greetings …
Interesting this type. Certainly it had a proper vision, some photos are brilliant, others not so much; there is something that has not just fitted and that's why there seems so believable to me the talented personage who is not capable of being valued himself.
Bob Carlos Clark was a berrako, one of the best photographers that I have seen in my time.
