The mysterious submarine Yonaguni ruins

The island of Yonaguni belongs to the Japanese archipelago of Ryu Kyu. Under the waters that surround it it was discovered in 1986 what some of them say that there are the ruins of an ancient civilization and others believe that it is a question only of natural formations. It is a case similar to the most recent of the Bosnian pyramid, about which we have already spoken here.
Masaaki Kimura is a marine geologist of the University of Ryu Kyu who has studied the place during the last 15 years. He thinks that the submarine stones are the remains of a city of 5.000 years ago. It is based on the dating of the stalactites found in caverns that sank at the same time that the supposed city.
He affirms to have identified marks and signs recorded in the stone and rocks sculpted with forms of animals. Also it has identified ten structures in Yonaguni and five more similar structures in the principal island of Okinawa. In whole the ruins cover an area that includes 300 for 150 meters.
The structures include the ruins of a castle, of a triumphal arch, five temples and at least a big stadium, connected by ways and water channels and protected partially therefore there might be enormous walls. The biggest structure is a monolithic pyramid, which rises up to a 25 meters depth.

The city sank 2.000 years ago, in one of the big earthquakes that flog this part of the Pacific Ocean. In fact, on May 4, 1998, a part of the island and of the ruins they were destroyed by a submarine earthquake.
But not everybody thinks like Kimura. Robert Schoch, teacher of science and mathematics of the University of Boston, is sure that none of the stones structures is a work of the hand of the man. According to him it is a question of sufficiently well-known and proper geologic formations of an area with important seismic activity.

Undoubtedly it is a part of a construction carried out by the man, and with an appropriate skill as it is seen the carved one of the stone.
To say that these structures were done in a natural way is completely ridiculous. There is no doubt that there was human intervention.

That thing about submerged cities it is not new at all, also there is one in Guatemala, in the lake of Atitlán. His name is SAMABAJ, it was discovered more or less approximately 15 years ago.
