To sum up in few lines the extraordinary personality of versatile Alejandro Jodorowsky (Tocopilla, Chile, 1929) is an impossible task: writer, scriptwriter of comic, actor, director of movies and of theater, and in the last years psychotherapist, healer and expert in Tarot, between other unusual skills.
At the age of 23 it left his native country and from the same ship that was taking it to France it threw to the sea his directions agenda, erasing this way his personal history, as there recommends Carlos Castaneda, whom later it would meet personally.
The Dance of the Reality (Siruela, 2001) is his imaginary but not fictitious autobiography - as he tells himself - since all the places, persons and events are real. Of the reality, vast, mysterious and unforeseeable, only we perceive what filters across our limited point of view; that's why, according to the author, it is not possible to tackle the reality without developing the imagination from multiple angles.
A lively book that is read like a novel and where the literary Jodorowsky skill manages to relate elements that in appearance did not have any connection. A biography that does not consist of counting only facts, but of granting them sense and even of reinventing them inside the context of a magic life.

Jodorowski is addictive, between more of, more I want to know, have just read The teacher and the magicians, fascinate myself, it was quite an education, my favorite peli Fando and Lis, I love his symbolism!
