The Tarot of Mantegna

In the Louvre there was opened last Friday the exhibition dedicated to Mantegna, who say it is never the most important organized out of Italy. But it is not of the exhibition in himself himself about than he wanted to speak to them.
Looking for things of this painter of the quattrocento, meeting in the Wikipedia this curiosity that he was not knowing:
By a lot of time Mantegna was considered to be the author of a series of 50 particular engravings, the Tarot of Mantegna, enigmatic masterpiece of the art of the engraving. But, how house was demonstrated by Giordano Berti in the catalog of the exhibition A say Andrea Mantegna. Artistic culture to Mantova nel quattrocento (Mantua, 2006), it is a question properly neither of a Tarot, nor either of a creation of the famous painter. This card, of which a ten copies survives in diverse libraries and museums, was realized in Italy, in Ferrara or in a city of the Veneto, about 1465. A cosmos was talking each other clearly of an educational game that represents a typical conception of the world of the Middle Age, that is to say in miniature expressed by five groups: human conditions, Apollo and the Muses, liberal Arts, cosmic beginning and Christian virtues, celestial bodies.
They can see the Mantegna Tarot cards in this web and his interpretation - if perhaps they are interested in - in The Door. Although there are no work of Mantegna it is not even a question of a real Tarot they are curious. There is another version in color, which I suspect it is even less authentic.

A very curious article …: I confess that it had not even idea of that the Tarot of Mantegna neither was a tarot nor belonged to Mantegna! I love these curiosities of the history. A greeting.
Cautious good, it is necessary to admit that some of the engravings are equal to the outstanding figures of the tarot, but then there are others that do not look alike in anything.
Greetings
I articulate very interesting, as mariel idea did not have that the mantegna tarot was not a tarot!
